FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The Atlanta Falcons announced today it will offer to current season ticket holders an early renewal option for the 2009 season. The early renewal option provides for discounts of up to 29 percent off the planned 2009 season ticket prices and even more substantial savings off 2009 single game ticket prices.

Entering the 2008 season, all season ticket prices were held flat or reduced from the previous season. The 2009 early-renewal prices continue that trend in the majority of seating areas, as more than two-thirds of seats (approximately 43,000), will remain flat or decrease in price. The remaining seats (approximately 19,000), primarily in the lower-level prime areas, will increase from flat pricing over the last two years.

“Our 2009 season ticket pricing provides a broad range of options to the largest number of fans, with the added benefit of an early-renewal discount for our current season ticket holders,” said Falcons President Rich McKay. “The prices more closely reflect demand by level and section, as well as offer affordable choices for relocation if desired.”

After the early renewal deadline of December 30, prices will increase from 2008 in most seating areas.

Falcons season ticket holders will begin receiving 2009 renewal packages this week. The renewal packages will also include information regarding season ticket holder benefits and the chance to win hundreds of prizes by renewing early.

Among the benefits to season ticket holders is the addition of personal customer service representatives who, throughout the season, will be available to answer questions, handle game-day requests and manage season ticket holder accounts. In addition, Falcons season ticket holders will have first access to parking options, hospitality add-ons and other game-day benefits.

“Our goal is to recognize the importance of our season ticket holders by being available and responsive to their needs,” said McKay. “Providing these services is another way we can let them know that we appreciate their business and continued support.”

Season ticket holders renewing early will be offered a new flexible payment plan of monthly installments over a six-month period. Renewals may be completed online or via mail, telephone or fax. Additionally, renewal locations will be set up in the Georgia Dome service centers and at tables in the upper level during the December 14 and December 28 Falcons home games at the Dome.
