UPPER BOWL SEATS NOW ON SALE FOR MEXICO VS. VENEZUELA ON JUNE 24 AT GEORGIA DOME

-High demand for historic international match allows for additional seats to be made available-
NEW YORK (June 19, 2009) – With the lower seating bowl nearly full for the match between Mexico and Venezuela in Atlanta on June 24 at 7:30 p.m. ET, Soccer United Marketing (SUM), together with the Atlanta Falcons, today announced today that seats in the Georgia Dome’s upper bowl are now available for purchase. Upper level seating will go on sale to the general public on Saturday morning, June 20 at 10 a.m. via www.Ticketmaster.com, and starting on June 22 at the Georgia Dome box office (open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Tickets start at $30 for upper bowl seating, while $50 sideline seats and limited $60 club seats continue to be available.
Stars Guillermo Ochoa, Omar Bravo and Gerardo Torrado highlight Mexico’s roster as the team prepares for the upcoming CONCACAF Gold Cup and FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. Venezuela’s roster is led by forwards Giancarlo Maldonado, a top scorer for Atlante of Mexico’s First Division, and Alejandro Moreno, who plays in the United States for Major League Soccer’s defending champion the Columbus Crew.
The match on June 24 will be a historic one for El Tri as it will mark Mexico’s first appearance in the Atlanta area. While Mexico did take part in the 1996 Summer Olympics, its four soccer matches were all held in venues in other states.
