2008 ATLANTA FALCONS FOOTBALL ACADEMY
Are you ready to talk football with quarterbacks Chris Redman and D.J. Shockley, wide receiver Brian Finneran and defensive stalwart Lawyer "Law Dog" Milloy? Well, they're looking forward to imparting their knowledge on you!
The Falcons proudly announce the return of Falcons Football Academy, a workshop designed to teach novice fans the "Xs and Os" of football via classroom-style instruction and demonstrations led by NFL experts, including current and former Falcons players. This highly anticipated event, which will be held this year at the Georgia Dome, takes place on Tuesday, October 28 at 6 p.m.
Admission to this exclusive event includes:
- a behind-the scenes tour of the newly-renovated Georgia Dome, including the team locker room, media press box and the multi-million dollar Verizon Wireless Club area.
- a full-course buffet dinner
- a "goody bag" with Falcons gear
- in-depth "chalk talks" on offense, defense and everything in between to get you ready for game day
- a series of drills on the Dome playing field taught by Falcons' legends and the Falcons players mentioned above.
While you're getting up to speed on football basics, you'll be helping a great cause: all event proceeds will benefit the Ed and Dora Voyles Breast Cancer Health Center and Saint Joseph's Hospital. This year's 2008 Football Academy is brought to you by Saint Joseph's Hospital, Verizon Wireless, The Home Depot and your Atlanta Falcons.
