VIBE MusicFest Schedule Released

The Georgia World Congress Center Authority invites you to join political and community leaders, national celebrities, and music industry executives in welcoming the inaugural VIBE MusicFest, June 10-12, 2005 to Atlanta, GA at the Georgia Dome and Georgia World Congress Center.

VIBE is proud to have the full support of the City of Atlanta for this family-oriented, community conscious, Black Music Month Festival which continues VIBE's longstanding tradition of showcasing, honoring, and commemorating Urban Music, Culture & Community. VIBE chronicles the music, fashion, and lifestyle of urban culture, while serving as a portal to the growing, multicultural urban music audience. The VIBE MusicFest will extend that mission to VIBE's millions of readers at this annual multi-day music, entertainment and lifestyle festival.

The VIBE MusicFest will feature a weekend of music, seminars, activities, education, and fun for attendees of all ages. The weekend's events will include concerts, fashion and lifestyle experience expositions, and educational panels. The exciting list of performers during the VIBE MusicFest includes Mary J. Blige, Kanye West, John Legend, Outkast's Big Boi, Ludacris, T.I., Faith Evans, Keyshia Cole, and Doug E. Fresh, to name a few. Over 100,000 attendees from the Atlanta area and nationwide are expected for the activities throughout the weekend. The City of Atlanta has a history of hosting world renowned entertainment and sport events and is excited that VIBE has decided to join this legacy by hosting this festival in our illustrious city.
