News / TICKETS ON SALE NOW FOR THE 2005 ATLANTA FALCONS KICKOFF LUNCHEON

Get your tickets today for the Atlanta Falcons Kickoff Luncheon, to be held this year from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 31 at the Georgia Dome.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation (AFYF) signature program, The Falcons/Force Fitness Zones. The program focuses on combating the obesity problems plaguing youth by collaborating with non-profit partners to provide fitness and nutrition programming for elementary and middle school students in targeted geographic areas in metropolitan Atlanta.

The Kickoff Luncheon has become a popular ritual among Falcons fans for starting the NFL season. Nearly 3,000 people are expected at the Georgia Dome to meet this year’s team and hear from club Owner & CEO Arthur Blank and Head Coach Jim Mora. Guests will also have the opportunity to collect signatures from players during an autograph session, as well as bid on sports memorabilia during silent and live auctions.

Fans can purchase individual tickets for $45 or a table for $450. The first 80 guests to purchase tables will be guaranteed a Falcons player or coach at their table. Sponsorship packages are also available from $2,500 to $7,500. To purchase tickets, or to get more information, fans should log on to atlantafalcons.com. Donations are partially tax deductible.

The NFC South Division Champion Atlanta Falcons will open their second season under the leadership of Head Coach Jim Mora on Monday, September 12, 2005 with a nationally-televised contest against the Philadelphia Eagles. Season tickets are sold out and the team has a waiting list of more than 32,000 fans for the first time in its history. To be added to the waiting list, fans should call 404-223-8000.
