News / GEORGIA DOME EASES GAME DAY CONGESTION, DELAYS BY OPERATING ADDITIONAL PARKING LOT

ATLANTA - To assist with Atlanta Falcons game day traffic, Georgia Dome officials are now operating an additional parking lot - the "Yellow Lot" - north of the Georgia Dome at Northside Drive and Simpson Street. The location of the lot will not only provide an additional 1200 spaces for general parking, it also increases the ease of entering and exiting the Georgia Dome area by providing easy access to and from Northside Drive - ultimately leading north to downtown Atlanta. This convenience will also afford attendees additional time to tailgate and participate in pre-game activities.

The Yellow Lot is open to the public and costs $8. Security is provided. The lot is also available for neighboring events such as Atlanta Hawks and Thrashers games.
