WEEKEND FULL OF ACTIVITY DOWNTOWN
Downtown will be full of fun activities this weekend. From
the Atlanta Boat Show and Monster Jam on the Georgia World
Congress Center Campus to a Hawks game and Aerosmith concert
at Philips Arena, downtown will draw thousands of enthusiastic
attendees for these events.
The Atlanta Boat Show returns to the Georgia World Congress
Center with a huge display of boats, marine technology and
all the fun and accessories that go with boating. Guests
will enjoy many activities, seminars and demonstrations
during this weekend. Of special note this year is the Boats
of Bond display. This boat show exhibit, in association
with the Ian Fleming Foundation, will showcase five authentic
vessels as well as additional memorabilia from James Bond
007 films. The Boat Show will be open on Saturday from 10
a.m.--9 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m.--6 p.m. Admission
for adults is $8; ages 13-15 is $4 and 12 or younger get

Saturday night the Superbowl of Motorsports--Monster Jam--returns
to the Georgia Dome. Enjoy all the action as cars and trucks
with huge wheels storm down mud lined tracks crushing cars!
Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the event starts at 7:30 p.m.

To add to all the excitement, Philips Arena will host two
large events this weekend. The Hawks take on Washington
Saturday night at 7 p.m. and Aerosmith with Lenny Kravitz
will play Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. For more information

Heavy traffic is expected in and around downtown this weekend
due to the number of events ongoing. Attendees are encouraged
to take MARTA to arrive safely and quickly to their destination.
The Georgia World Congress Center and the Georgia Dome can
