As the professional football season draws near, the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders are gearing up to select the next 32 talented ladies to represent this dynamic squad during the 2006 Falcons season. The 2006 Preliminary Auditions begin on Sunday, April 23, in the Thomas B. Murphy Ballroom located inside the Georgia World Congress Center. Registration is from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. and auditions begin promptly at 10 a.m. Finalists from Sunday's Preliminary Audition will receive additional information about the next phase of the process.

Information including a downloadable application, applicant requirements, acceptable audition attire, helpful hints and answers to frequently asked questions can be found at the official Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader website, www.atlantafalcons.com/cheerleaders.

The Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders anticipate another outstanding showing for this year's auditions. Applicants are encouraged to come fully prepared and excited about the possibility of cheering on the team and making a difference in the community.
