ATLANTA FALCONS MIDTOWN TOUCHDOWN PRACTICE SESSION SOLD OUT

FLOWERY BRANCH, GA (July 17, 2006) - The Atlanta Falcons announced today that seats for the Midtown Touchdown evening practice at Grady Stadium August 5 sold out in less than five days. Due to the tremendous response from fans, a limited number of standing room tickets are being made available, and can be purchased online beginning today at www.atlantafalcons.com, or by visiting the Falcons 365 stores at Lenox and Perimeter malls.

"Fan response to the Midtown Touchdown practice has been phenomenal and we're doing our best to accommodate everyone," said Jim Smith, VP of marketing. "Besides offering additional standing-room tickets for the practice, we're also reminding fans that all festival activities in Piedmont Park - which are free and open to the public - will be going full-throttle while the practice is taking place across the street. There will be live music, interactive games, alumni and cheerleader autographs, topped off by the fireworks in the park - truly something for everyone."

Standing room tickets for the practice session at Grady Stadium can be purchased online for $5, with all proceeds benefiting Atlanta Public Schools athletic programs. Admission to Midtown Touchdown at Piedmont Park is free.

Presenting sponsors for Midtown Touchdown are Delta Air Lines, BellSouth, SunTrust, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and Metro Atlanta KIA Dealers.

The gates at Piedmont Park open at 3 p.m. on the day of the event, with all festivities ending at 10 p.m. Fans are encouraged to check www.atlantafalcons.com throughout the summer for more Falcons Midtown Touchdown details.
