Game Day Dome Traffic / Falcons vs. Jaguars

TAKE MARTA: With thousands of football fans expected to kick off the Labor Day Weekend at the Georgia Dome this Thursday, officials are encouraging all fans to take MARTA and to "Make it a Breeze" Fans should purchase two one-way Breeze tickets - round trip fare debuts in September - at the beginning of their trip will avoid long lines after the game.
The Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena serves both the Park and the Georgia Dome. Access to the Park also is available from Peachtree Center and football fans can use the Vine City Station. Fare is just $1.75 each way and extra trains will be running on game day! Falcon's Landing opens at 4:30 p.m., gates open at 5:30 p.m. and kick-off against Jacksonville Jaguars is at 7:30 p.m. Remember, pack lightly and leave the large bags, video cameras and coolers at home. All fans and packages are subject to inspection.
GEORGIA DOME VICINITY: Georgia Power will be performing utilities work related to the building of the New World of Coca-Cola on Centennial Olympic Park Drive through Aug. 25.
The work will require the closure of two lanes at one time and possibly the crosswalk at the intersection of COP Drive and Baker Street.
The work will occur between approximately 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and should not have a major impact on Falcons' game day traffic.
One lane of westbound traffic at the corner of Ivan Allen Boulevard and Spring Street is closed due to condo construction.
